PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

We ask parents to take an active role in their child’s education by attending classroom observations, parent-teacher conferences, curriculum presentations and school events.

WELCOMING AND ENGAGING WITH PARENTS

New families in the school are introduced to other parents during the monthly Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meetings held every third Friday of the month at 6:00 pm. The PTA offers many opportunities for meeting families. These include parent cocktail parties, an all-school picnic in Swift Cantrell Park, a book fair, family outings to Smith Gilbert Gardens and other recreational and cultural venues, and a Parent Social in the Spring.

COMMUNICATING WITH PARENTS
Parents receive weekly reports from the teachers which contains important information about children academic progress, school events and policies. Additionally, the Head of School sends the monthly newsletters, in which she discusses topics of community importance. The Parent Portal provides a complete calendar, classroom information, events, an online tuition payment feature and other resources. Parents can access the Parent Portal through the login link on the portal's page.
