Tuition Policies

Trial Week | To help determine if our school is the right fit, we offer a Trial Week for children ages 2-5 and a Trial Day for ages 6-9. This period allows both families and staff to evaluate compatibility. At the end of the trial, we provide feedback on enrollment. If proceeding with enrollment, the child may begin on the next available start date, subject to space availability.

Fees:

  • Trial Week (ages 2-5): $300

  • Trial Day (ages 6-9): $100

$500 | New Family fee - This is a one time fee for new families joining Princeton Preparatory Schools. This fee serves to support staff development and the further development of Princeton Preparatory's Schools academic programs and facilities.

$300 | Student Material fee - This is an annual fee that goes toward the cost of purchasing and replacing Montessori hands on materials, and Classical Education curriculum for each classroom.

Tuition Information:

  1. Tuition is due the 1st of each month. Cleared funds must be received by the school no later than 5:00 pm on the 3rd of each month after which a late fee of $50 is charged. If the due date falls on a public holiday or a weekend, payment must be made no later than the working day immediately prior to the due date to avoid a late fee.
  2. Returned payments incur a $35 fee.
  3. The 10 month payment plan is for the convenience of parents who wish to make monthly payments. This does not mean that a parent is paying for a particular month of the year.
  4. There will be no refunds for days missed (such as absences of a child, inclement weather, or other instances that necessitate the closing of the school etc.)
  5. A 3% reduction in tuition is made for the second sibling, the children of retired and serving members of military families and teachers. Please bring proof of ID and or membership when enrolling.
  6. An additional 3% will be added to any tuition payments involving the use of any type of credit card.
  7. After two NSF (Non Sufficient Funds) incidents, TuioPay our tuition payment platform will deactivate your account.
  8.  The withdrawal of a student from the school requires a one month notice in writing and is subject to prior agreement with the Head of School. Failing this, a one month payment will be charged to the student account.

SUMMER SCHOOL RATES | Princeton Preparatory Schools is a year-round school. Summer rates remain the same as the school year rates. All students enrolled in our Toddler and Primary programs attend school on a 12-month cycle. Elementary students may also attend summer school. We do not offer weekly or daily rates during summer school.

EXTENDED CARE ENROLLMENT | Princeton Preparatory School offers extended care for currently enrolled students as a service to parents who require care for children outside of the regular school hours. Families requiring extended care on a consistent basis should complete an Extended Care Contract. Availability for Extended Care is not guaranteed to students without an Extended Care Contract. Daily rates are $25 for afternoon care, and $15 for early morning drop off before 8:10am.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM | The Princeton Preparatory Schools After-school Program is only open to currently enrolled students.

DROP-IN CARE & BILLING | Drop-in extended care requires at least 24 hours' notice or notification by 2:00 pm on the day of care and is subject to space availability. Students remaining on campus after 3:00 pm without prior notification and who are not enrolled in After-care or drop-in care will be placed in the After-school Program, and a $30 fee will be charged.

CO-OP BUY-OUT | A fee of $250 per year will be assessed for each parent/guardian not participating in the parent co-op at the beginning of each school year.

POTTY TRAINING | All children ages 3 and above must be potty trained. Children who are not yet fully potty trained are placed in the toddler program until they are fully potty trained.

Please Note:

  • Class placement will only be confirmed once all required forms and documentation are submitted.

  • Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If a spot is offered but another family completes all necessary forms and payments first, the spot will go to the family that has completed their submission even if it was initially offered to someone else.

  • Due to high demand, our programs often reach capacity quickly. Applications will be processed in the order they are received. Should the program be full at the time of application, families will be contacted when a space becomes available.
